Using the activity center, there are several pictures of instruments that you can find the functions that make up the outline of the instrument.
Before the Activity
If you are using the TI-Navigator System with the TI-73 you will need the attached .pdf file.
You will need to discuss several types of functions and how to do horizontal and vertical shifts.
During the Activity
Attached are five .act files with instruments. What function(s) you use is up to you and the level of your class. For instance, on the triangle, you may have an Algebra 1 class that you tell them to write 3 linear equations, or you may have an Algebra 1 class that you ask to write the absolute value function of the top of the triangle.
