Activity Overview
Students simulate riding on an elevator to demonstrate what makes a relation a function. Students also play a game with dice and then use the data to analyze if it represents a function or non-function.
Before the Activity
Teacher needs to make copies (and laminate) "Relation and Functions Student Cards" and teacher should carefully read over Lesson Notes.
During the Activity
Teacher should review TNS file and make any changes to attached student worksheet as they feel necessary.
