TI InterActive! includes an integrated, fully functional, internal Web browser so you can access math and science resources everywhere.
Unique, smart-extraction algorithms enable you to select and extract numerical data from any HTML page to the data editor for further math exploration and analysis. Constantly updated, TI recommended links to real world numerical data on the Web are an integral part of the TI InterActive! site.
URL addresses may also be saved within your TI InterActive! document for easy reference. Later, you can click on the hypertext link within your document to view the contents on the browser.
Start using TI InterActive right away! Several teacher activities are included with the school editions of the product. Additional activities are available from the TI InterActive! site.
Data editor with spreadsheet
TI InterActive! includes a custom data editor for effective data analysis and math exploration. This environment includes a spreadsheet, a list editor, and a matrix editor. The spreadsheet is compatible with popular spreadsheet applications. Data from the Internet, a calculator, or a data collection device (CBL™/CBR™) may be downloaded directly into the data editor. Statistics plots and investigations may also be launched from the data editor.
Graphing Technology Connectivity
TI InterActive! enables you to connect to your TI-83, TI-83 Plus family, TI-84 Plus family, TI-92, TI-92 Plus, Voyage™ 200, TI-89, TI-89 Titanium, CBL™, CBL 2™, or CBR™ so you can use all of your classroom tools.
TI InterActive! includes a direct connection to the TI-84 Plus, TI-84 Plus Silver Edition so you can easily transfer screenshots and data directly into your TI InterActive! document. You can also transfer data between your computer and calculator.
Data Collection
The Quick data feature makes it convenient for you to perform the most popular CBL™ , CBL 2™, and CBR™ experiments. Using the temperature, light, voltage, sonic and 14 other probes, TI InterActive! enables you to quickly setup experiments and view results in real-time or after the experiment has completed.
System Requirements
System requirements are a Windows® 98, ME, 2000, or XP* compatible PC. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or later must be installed as an update to Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later is required and a minimum of 40 MB of hard disk space must be available.
Windows® 95 and NT users can use TI InterActive! v1.2. Download v1.2 now.
*Texas Instruments is making an effort to characterize the behavior of its Windows desktop software under the recently released Windows® XP Service Pack 2.
