Sorting a range of cells in a column
Follow these steps to sort a range of cells in a column:
- Select the range of cells.
- Press menu to display the Lists & Spreadsheet menu.
- On the Actions menu, select Sort.
- Select Descending or Ascending to sort the data.
Follow along with this example for sorting a range of cells in a column:
- Create a new Lists and Spreadsheet application.
- Create a list of 10 random integers in the range of 1-100 inclusive in column A.
- On the Actions menu, select Sort
- Click to OK to overwrite data. This means the function randInt (will be taken out of the formula cell for column A, but the random integers you created will still remain).
- Select Descending or Ascending to sort the data. Click OK.
