Closing Session - Mayim Bialik
Actress, Neuroscientist and spokeswoman for TI-Nspire™ Technology "The Big Bang Theory" actress, real-life scientist and author Mayim Bialik talks about her experience as brand ambassador and spokeswoman for TI-Nspire™ CX math and science learning technology. Bialik earned her B.S. in neuroscience and Hebrew and Jewish studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000, and went on to receive her Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA in 2007, specializing in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder in adolescents with Prader-Willi syndrome.

Specific sessions will explore how administrators can help teachers to fully implement these solutions and then how to evaluate whether these solutions have made a difference in classrooms and to what degree teachers are implementing them. CAS Conference-in-a-Conference
Speakers: Various, by MEECASThis all-day event features over 20 sessions focused on the usage of Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) as a learning tool. Co-hosted by the Mathematics Educators Exploring Computer Algebra Systems (MEECAS).

TI-Nspire™ CX technology brings math and science to life with a full-color display, interactive touch pad, photos and images, real-time data collection, and multiple representations on a single screen. We'll explore patterns, graph functions and relationships, graph and model data, and learn how to engage students using TI-Nspire™ documents designed to discover and explore various math and science concepts. Get the most out of the experience by bringing your personal TI-Nspire CX handheld with you. Don't have one yet? Don't worry! TI supplies loaners for all T³ International Conference sessions. The Art of Questioning: Leading Learners to Level Up
Speakers: Jill and Sam Gough"Questions are the way points on the path of wisdom." ~ Grant Lichtman. This session will focus on the art of questioning and using the TI-Nspire™ Navigator™ System as a formative assessment tool. Work on becoming a falconer...leading your learners to level up through questions rather than lectures. Come prepared to develop formative assessment strategies and documents to share with students to help them calibrate their understanding and decode their struggles. TI-Nspire Navigator 101
Speakers: Corey Boby, Randy Lobe, Tracy WatsonSo you've seen TI-Nspire™ Navigator™ System in other sessions, but always from the student perspective. If you want to learn what it is like for the teacher this session is for you. During this three-hour hands on computer session you will get the chance to learn how to conduct Quick Polls, do Class Captures of student handhelds, and transfer files. While you may not be an expert after this session you will leave feeling confident you passed TI-Nspire Navigator 101 course and are ready for 102. Saturday • 8:00 – 11:30 AM
Learn to Lua
Speaker: Mary BourassaThis hands-on session will take participants through the basics of Lua, the power scripting language that can be used with TI-Nspire™ technology. Starting at "Hello, world!", participants will learn how to create Lua scripts that can replace Notes pages, incorporate images, allow user interaction as well as many more exciting features! STEM Project-Based Learning: Design Basics
Speaker: Joe FerraraCome learn the necessary skills for designing a true STEM project for your class. See concrete examples of projects attempted in classes like yours and understand what made them successful (or not!). Participants will use their content standards to design the basic elements of a PBL Unit to implement in their classrooms.
