Special Needs Technology Options

What calculator choices are available for the visually impaired?

  • One choice is to use the ViewScreen™ panel with the ViewScreen version of a compatible TI graphing calculator. Placing the panel on a sheet of white paper can work for some visually impaired students.
  • Another option is the TI-Presenter™ video interface. Using it with a computer monitor or TV can work for other students.
  • TI InterActive!™ PC software may help some students as well.
