Workshops

On-site workshops, facilitated by T³™ instructors, focus on learning to use specific TI products and integrating them into the classroom. Courses are held on consecutive days at your school for a maximum of 25 attendees. On-site workshops are available for purchase by your school or district. Workshops can be purchased with or without TI technology included in the cost.

The cost of a 3-day workshop is $5,490 from Texas Instruments. The cost of a 3-day workshop including 25 TI graphing handhelds and 25 single-user licenses of educator software is $11,490. Select 1-day and 3-day workshops may also be purchased through your Instructional Products Dealer; prices may vary.

      • Implementing Formative Assessment with TI-Nspire™ Navigator – Next Steps for Intermediate Users

          This two-day workshop is designed to equip beginning and intermediate TI-Nspire users with lessons and resources involving actual data and problem situations from NASA.

          Participants will use TI-Nspire technology to model and analyze a variety of space exploration topics, such as reduced-gravity flight, the ascent of a space shuttle, astronauts’ range of motion, low Earth orbits, Newton’s Law of Cooling, guidance and navigation, and bone density loss.

Participants will work through classroom-ready activities that use the TI-Navigator system to enhance students' understanding and problem-solving abilities via situations that take advantage of the classroom interactions the TI-Navigator system enables. These activities will help develop teachers' familiarity with the TI-84 Plus and the TI-Navigator system through hands-on explorations, modeling effective classroom use of technology.
