Workshops

On-site workshops, facilitated by T³™ instructors, focus on learning to use specific TI products and integrating them into the classroom. Courses are held on consecutive days at your school for a maximum of 25 attendees. On-site workshops are available for purchase by your school or district. Workshops can be purchased with or without TI technology included in the cost.

The cost of a 3-day workshop is $5,490 from Texas Instruments. The cost of a 3-day workshop including 25 TI graphing handhelds and 25 single-user licenses of educator software is $11,490. Select 1-day and 3-day workshops may also be purchased through your Instructional Products Dealer; prices may vary.

        This workshop is designed for educators who are interested in or are just beginning to use TI-Nspire technology. It will cover the basics to get started with the technology and teaching with it. This will focus on the TI-Nspire Student Software and TI-Nspire Teacher Software.

        TI-Nspire technology will be introduced in the context of the high school mathematics curriculum, with topics mainly in Algebra and Geometry but including ones that are appropriate up to Calculus. Participants will also explore learning resources such as Math Nspired, designed to support further use of TI-Nspire technology and additional activities, along with discussions on the integration of these in their classrooms. At the conclusion of the three days, participants should have a comfort level in the use of premade documents, along with basic skills in the use of graphing, geometry and the other applications of TI-Nspire technology.
