Activity Overview
Self checking using the attached LearningCheck™ .edc file. These six questions, maybe used for class warmup, review, or checking for understanding.
Before the Activity
Students should have knowledge of the Distance and Midpoints formulas. Also, an understanding of slope, writing equations of a line, and perpendicular bisectors.
During the Activity
Students can be given this LearningCheck .edc file individually or in groups. It is comprised of six multiple choice questions. It is written in a self check mode, but can be changed to examination mode.
After the Activity
Review student results:
As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
Re-teach concepts as necessary
