Science Nspired - Biology - Genetics by Texas Instruments

Genetics is the field of Biology devoted to understanding how charateristics are transmitted from parents to offspring. The structure of DNA helps explain how genes function in making the proteins that determine specific traits in organisms. Scientists can also manipulate DNA for benefical purposes using techniques known as DNA Technology.
