Lesson and Assessment Design with TI-Nspire™ Technology

This workshop is designed for educators who have attended a previous TI-Nspire™ workshop and are interested in designing TI-Nspire™ lessons to enhance student learning in middle grades and high school mathematics classrooms.

Learn how to improve classroom practices by examining the characteristics of effective TI-Nspire™ explorations, as well as techniques for designing rich, standards-based tasks with multiple entry points. You’ll explore strategies for enhancing students’ descriptive and analytic modeling proficiency with multiple representations. Uncover opportunities for effective questioning and strategies for using TI-Nspire™ technology to detect students’ thinking – and to advance it. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to develop rich, interactive TI-Nspire™ lessons to support mathematics teaching and learning.
