Exploring Algebra with TI-Nspire™ Technology – Special Needs Focus

Designed for algebra educators of students with special needs, this workshop offers modified materials to provide additional support and strategies for working with such populations.

Learn to identify various entry points to problem-solving situations and discuss multiple representations in the context of enhancing students’ descriptive and analytic-modeling proficiency. The workshop introduces essential TI-Nspire™ technology skills, including tools for visualizing and solving equations, graphing and comparing functions, and analyzing data.

Overview

This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
