TI-Navigator™

Instruction
Creating an interactive classroom
The TI-Navigator system allows the educator and student to interact in new, exciting ways. Educators can carry out formative instruction, shaping the lesson instantly as it unfolds to meet individual student needs.

Student engagement
Educators and students engage in two-way communication that makes the lesson more intimate and immediate.

  • When students individually contribute their own unique work, they become more engaged in the subject and more connected to the class
  • Students know the educator is monitoring their class involvement, further assuring engagement

Convenient “Pan” and “Zoom” features help locate and display information in seconds, focusing students on critical parts of the subject
Activity Center
The TI-Navigator system networks every student with the educator, and student contributions can be projected to the class.

Everyone can join in with the Activity Center’s shared workspace, contributing work displayed in real time

Educators can show student responses anonymously, so even shy students feel safe contributing. Group participation and class discussion are more exciting

Classroom management
Educators and students can make the most of class time, with instruction tailored to individual student needs. The educator can quickly and easily:

  • Check student attendance with one easy set up and confirm which students are logged in at a glance
  • Transfer files to the class, including assignments, activities and assessments
  • The Screen Capture feature lets the educator see instantly which students are on task and which are not
