 The CME Project – developed by the Education Development Center and published by Pearson Education – is a four-year, NSF-funded, comprehensive high school mathematics program that is problem-based, student-centered, and organized around the familiar themes of Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Precalculus.
The CME Project is designed to promote robust mathematical proficiency for all students by emphasizing the interplay between mathematical thinking and essential technical skills and to provide a coherent curriculum with mathematical ideas, skills, and themes introduced early and deepened throughout the program.
 The CME Project was the first textbook series to include support for TI-Nspire™ technology “inside the covers.” Throughout the textbook, there are references to TI-Nspire technology that direct students to a TI-Nspire technology “how-to” handbook at the back of the book. Because of the wide array of dynamic components that make up TI-Nspire technology – from graphing, interactive geometry, and spreadsheets to data & statistics, helpful input templates, and powerful math engine – it is an ideal tool to use with the CME Project.
