Imagine being able to instantly see how well every student in your class understands a concept. The TI-Navigator System creates a wireless classroom network for students' graphing calculators and the teacher's PC, making real-time progress monitoring and evaluation a reality.
Designed for use with Pearson's Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 textbooks, the
Instant Check System for the TI-Navigator System is a built-in method to check student readiness and understanding at critical points before, during, and after learning. By providing Instant Check System assessments in a format ready to use with the TI-Navigator System, educators can easily integrate the powerful TI-Navigator System with their Pearson ©2004 or ©2007 curriculum.
Choose one of the Pearson Instant Check System assessments:
- Before Instruction-Use Check Skills You'll Need exercises to determine students' readiness. Choose assessments directly from the Algebra or Geometry lesson you're teaching-making the most effective use of the TI-Navigator System.
- During Instruction-Use Check Understanding exercises to monitor student understanding. You transfer the Prentice Hall assessment to your students through the TI-Navigator system. Students work the exercises on their handheld and electronically transfer their answer back to you.
- After Instruction-Use a Checkpoint Quiz to assess students. Class answers to your assessment can be displayed in a graph-allowing you and the class to see results without singling out any students.
