Program Archive

Downloading with Mac®
How do I download with a Macintosh web browser?
When you find a program that you want to download, simply CLICK on that file name (a file name will look like "myprgm.83g," "myprgm.92p," etc.). Your browser is likely to respond in one of two ways:

If your browser displays the file (you may see only garbage or very little at all)... Select "File" then "Save As" from your browser's menu, then follow the instructions in the next bullet.
If your browser automatically displays a "Save As" window... Select the folder on your hard drive where you want to save the file (probably "TI-GRAPH LINK"), and select "Save."
Note: You can automatically bring up the Save As window by clicking on the file and holding down the mouse button.

Now, you must convert the file into Macintosh format before TI-GRAPH LINK will recognize it. To do this, you need the TIAutoType utility that within TI Connect. Once you have installed TIAutoType, just Drag-n-Drop the calculator program on the TIAutoType icon.

You can send programs to your calculator using TI Connect.

You can’t create programs with TI Connect, but you can create them in TI GRAPH LINK and send them to TI Connect to be sent to the calculator. You could then view the program on the calculator once it’s sent via TI Connect.

Note: The procedure above is not the only way to download files from the program archive, but it is a method that works for most types of browsers.
