Materials and Facilities Requirements
The materials and facilities requirements outlined below are intended for a 9-day institute. Depending on the number of days and activities chosen these requirements may change.

Facilities requirements:
A Windows-based computer lab is required for instruction. Every computer should have Internet access and should have TI InterActive!, TI Connect, TI-Navigator 2.0, Internet Explorer, TI SmartView, Class Analysis, LearningCheck™ Creator, and a word processor. For a 1-2 day workshop, pairs of participants can share a computer. For a 3-5 day workshop, each participant should have individual computer access.

 

Instructor and Local Assistant Information:
This is LIMITED TO 15 to 20 participants as a one-instructor institute. If the number of participants exceeds 20, a second instructor will need to be added. This institute requires that the host site provide, at their own expense, a highly qualified Instructional Support Person/Lab Assistant.


Equipment and materials that the organizer must provide for each participant:

Computer Projector
Racquet Balls, at least 1 for every 4 participants
A small Slinky for the spring, at least 1 for every 4 participants
Paper clips
Play-Doh
Paper Plates
M&M's™
Tacks
Pennies
6-side dice
Source for hot water (small coffee pot)
