Professional Development from Teachers Teaching with Technology

About the T3 Local Network Programme
With the introduction of the new TI-Nspire ICT platform, T3 has redesigned its Professional Development courses for 2008. We are pleased to announce six one-day workshops in England and Scotland as part of the Local Network Programme.

The sessions will be led by experienced teachers, who have all been using TI technology for a numbers of years and have been involved in classroom pilots using TI-Nspire.

These sessions will be held at:

Newnham College, Cambridge (trainer - Chris Olley, Director of the Maths PGCE Course at Kings College)
The Mountbatten School, Romsey, Hampshire (trainer - Peter Ransom, Head of Maths at The Mountbatten School)
University of Sussex, Brighton (trainer - Maria Stewart, Head of Maths at St. Andrews School, Worthing)
The Grammar School at Leeds (trainer - Jay Timotheus, Head of Maths at The Bluecoat School, Walsall)
Kings College, London (trainer - Chris Olley)
University of Stirling (trainers - Nevil Hopley, Head of Maths at George Watson's College, Edinburgh and Karen Birnie, PT Maths at Aboyne Academy, Aberdeenshire)
As an attendee, you will:
Complete a survey before the course to allow us to tailor the day to your needs
Have the chance to try out the software before the course
Work with the support of an experienced trainer
Be provided with tutorials and classroom materials to use after the course
Be given lunch and all other refreshments during the course
