| Texas Instruments Education Technology Group is committed to developing educational technology and services based on the best available research on improved learning and effective teaching.
We support the gathering of evidence-based educational practice, which integrates professional wisdom with the best available scientifically based research in making decisions about how to deliver classroom teaching.
As part of this vision, we recognise the value of teacher research (action research). The goal of this action research is to document in case study form this professional wisdom: to provide practical, classroom level information about effective mathematics and science teaching, as a way of disseminating and expanding best practice.
Texas Instruments would like to help you undertake action research in your classroom. We solicit proposals and studies about the effective use of our educational technology products, curriculum materials and services and their impact on learner success.
We are particularly interested in teacher research projects that investigate use of TI-Nspire. However, we welcome all projects involving TI products, in a variety of subjects and age levels, and in the full range of school settings, including those with special challenges.
