| TI-SmartView™ emulator software is an easy-to-use, effective demonstration tool for leading the classroom exploration of math and science concepts. Based on the functionality of the popular TI-84 Plus family graphing calculators (and compatible with the TI-83 Plus family), the TI-SmartView complements classroom calculator use by projecting an interactive representation of the calculator, plus offers many unique instructional capabilities.

Teachers can simultaneously project multiple representations of graph, table, and equation screens - increasing student understanding of concepts and relationships between these different representations (as recommended in the NCTM Standards).
Scripts
Preloaded demonstrations help teachers increase their familiarity and comfort with graphing calculator functionality, ideal to help those just getting started with or expanding their use of graphing calculators.
Teachers can prerecord their own key press operation of the calculator for playback in class. It’s easy to create, edit, play, pause, and modify the delivery speed of scripts, and they can be saved on the computer for future use.
Key Press History
As keys are selected, key images and entire key-sequences can be projected to the class. This helps students follow along and stay on track.
Visual Key Pressing
As the teacher uses the mouse to select keys on the TI-SmartView emulator (or presses the image directly on an interactive whiteboard), the projected keys highlight indicating selection.
Large Screen Viewing
An expanded calculator screen can be projected enabling students in large or crowded classrooms to see important details. Size can be varied depending on what other features are projected at the same time.
Screen Capture
Easily create and save multiple screen captures. Screens as well as Key Press Histories can be copied into commonly used software programs, including Microsoft® Word or PowerPoint®.
Sizing Options
Select one of three viewable sizes of the emulator image for effective classroom projection.
