Can calculator software applications (Apps) be deleted or saved using TI Connect?
Before using the TI Connect software, please be sure the latest version is installed on the computer. Currently, the latest version is TI Connect v4.0. TI Connect v4.0 can be downloaded, free of charge, from the education.ti.com website.To delete Apps from a Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator using TI Connect, please follow the steps listed below:
• Open the TI Connect software and [Click] on the [TI DeviceExplorer] icon.
• A dialog may appear "Select TI Device", if it does [Click] on your calculator's name from the list and then [Click] the [Select] button.
• After the TI DeviceExplorer successfully connects to the calculator, a list of items should appear displaying all the data currently stored on the calculator.
• [Click] on the plus [+] sign next to [Applications] and a list should appear containing all the names of the Apps currently stored on the calculator.
• [Right Click] on the name of the application to be deleted and select [Delete]
• In the "Delete Item" dialog [Click] the [Yes] button to delete the application.
To save Apps from a Texas Instruments calculator using TI Connect, please follow the steps listed below.
• Open the TI Connect software and [Click] on the [TI DeviceExplorer] icon.
• A dialog may appear "Select TI Device", if it does [Click] on your calculator's name from the list and then [Click] the [Select] button.
• After the TI DeviceExplorer successfully connects to the calculator, a list of items should appear displaying all the data currently stored on the calculator.
• [Click] on the plus [+] sign next to [Applications] and a list should appear containing all the names of the Apps currently stored on the calculator.
• [Click and hold the mouse button down] on the name of the application and drag it over the computer's desktop then [Release the mouse button]. This will transfer a backup copy of the application onto the computer without deleting it from the calculator.
