Basic Search
  1. In the Search box at the top of each page, type search phrases or keywords. See "Search Notes for All Search Types" and "Advanced Search" for more information.
  2. Click the search button.

Advanced Search
Use an advanced search by selecting one of the following options from the using drop-down list:

Question
Choose Question and type a question using regular spoken language.

All Words
Choose All Words to search for items that contain at least one occurrence of every word or quoted phrase you type in the Search for box.

Exact Phrase
Choose Exact Phrase to search for the exact phrase you type in the Search for box. Quotes are not needed. The search looks for the exact string of words you type in the exact order you type them, except for some common words like a, an, or the.

Any Words
Choose Any Words to search for items that contain at least one occurrence of one or more words or quoted phrases you type. This is the least specific search type. If you have trouble getting results for your query, try Any Words.

Boolean Search
Boolean search supports standard Boolean operators and syntax:

Search Results
Search results contain a list of relevance-ranked results. Higher rankings indicate a closer relevance to the search keywords. Results appear in descending order of relevance.

Note: Start a New Search is selected by default. To start a new search, type new keywords in the Search for box and click the Search button. To search within the search results, see "Search Within These Results" below.

Search Within These Results
Your first search might return too many results to be useful. Search Within These Results provides an easy way to drill down within search results to find the results of most interest to you. To search within the results, click Search Within These Results, type keywords in the Search for box (separated by commas or spaces), and click the Search button to refine the search. Repeat the process as many times as needed until you have the results you want.
