    • Introduction to Data Collection and Analysis

      This free course will help participants develop skills necessary for the effective use of the TI-84 Plus graphing calculator in the collecting and analysis of scientific—specifically, biological—data. By interfacing the graphing calculator with the data collection workhorse, the CBL 2(™), and a variety of probeware, participants will develop the confidence and expertise necessary to use this technology with students in the classroom. Activities in the course will range from using the graphing calculator to simply enter and analyze data related to Biology, to performing experiments where data is collected, analyzed, and stored after the collection.

      Helping to develop scientific literacy and competency through the use of this device is the primary focus of the course. Data collection and analysis is vital to the science classroom. As such, the majority of the activities in the course will involve collection of data while performing scientific experiments. This course contains 8 self-paced learning modules, with a total of 16 activities.

    • Clermont County Educational Service Center

      These courses offered by Clermont County Educational Service Center will focus on Teaching with TI-Nspire technology in the Algebra or Geometry classrooms. These are for-purchase courses available through Clermont County Educational Service Center.

      Each course will take approximately 15 hours to complete and offers 1 semester hour of credit. CCESC will award Continuing Education Units per course completed, or participants may pay for graduate credit via Ashland University. Please visit Clermont County ESC's website for more information.

    • Central Michigan University

      Five 3-credit hour courses offer in-depth study of technology in the classroom to teachers of Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, or Biology/Life Sciences. Some classes meet online at scheduled times for chat sessions, but generally you may log in at your own convenience.
